Getting Ready

We have been working hard to get the house ready to go on the market. The kids have been helping however they can. I am so proud of them!

We rented a large dump trailer and filled it with old scrap wood we do not need, the remains of a tree that fell on the house in 2014 (it was a BIG cherry tree), we took apart and got rid of our old trampoline - it gave us a good 12 years of life so we can't complain, and old furniture that has been sitting in the garage. The kids have really stepped up and often times have asked to help when they see how hard we are working.

I have been working on sanding decks, benches, and water proofing the decks and benches as well. Talk about give your hands a workout! Mark has been working hard on painting the house, and the bedrooms. We also took up the rest of the carpet upstairs and will be painting the upstairs bedroom floor where the carpet was.

When we are not working on the house, we are doing schoolwork and the kids have had time to play.

Our house goes on the market in a little more than a week from now. It is crunch time and we are working hard to try to get everything finished before the relator comes to take pictures and then it is listed and is being shown.
Then it is a waiting game until it sells and we can move.
Please keep us in your prayers that it will sell quickly.
