Just before the cold front that hit the USA came through, we got the wood burning stove up and running
The cold front came in with snow and freezing temperatures. We experienced our coldest winter ever with our lowest temperature being negative 9. When it finally warmed up to the 20s, the kids wanted to run out and play in the snow. They played outside for a few minutes before coming in to warm up with hot chocolate
With the temperatures staying below freezing, the snow has stuck around which gave us a
White Christmas!
looks like we had some visitors in the night
Willow made a mini snowman
Christmas Eve
We had a very relaxing Christmas morning. The kids slept in, then they got up, did chores, ate breakfast and then they got to open their stockings. After about an hour playing with the toys from their stockings we started having the kids open gifts one by one rather than have mass carnage in a small space.
Alina is very artsy and crafty so she got several craft gifts which she was very pleased about
All the kids got their own set of gel pens.
All of the kids got books. They all got a coloring book to use their gel pens with, along with a story book, and a book to help them with Bible study.
She is really into lego right now so she got legos for Christmas!
Playing with her new toy house
Working on making a quilt
playing with her legos
enjoying one of the family gifts, more magnet tiles!
making a necklace with her jewelry making kit
he kept "borrowing" daddy's tools, so he got his own!!

Matching outfits for church. Our church held a Christmas dinner where we ate together, visited, and then watched Chosen together.
