helping Daddy fix the mailbox - the stake meant for the mailbox just could not go deep enough into the ground and it made our mailbox unstable - we came up with a different way to make it work...  (t-post inside the log!!!)

Mark was able to get quite a good start building our shed on his own, but we were blessed when some members of our church volunteered to come out and help! 

The roof still needs finishing but they sure did get a lot of work done!

After church today we went on a family hike through our woods. We followed a trail for a while, went off trail for a little while, then back on the trail again. We had fun exploring our acreage and checking out potential sites for building a larger home and places we could clear for livestock. We meandered down towards the creek while the kids played "The Floor Is Lava!" while stepping over rocks in the creek. We decided to just sit for a while and let the kids have fun playing in the creek. The water was cold but they loved it and had the best time. As a family we decided this was the best way to spend Sundays after church (nature walks and playing in the creek) so we will be doing that on Sundays from now on. It will be a great way to relax, and just enjoy being together while the rest of the week is always so busy.
