The slower pace of winter and rest is over, now that spring is here the projects get back into full force, gardens to plant, building projects, and so much more. 

We bought a few bags of dirt as the ground here has too many rocks to just directly plant in the ground. After using several bags of dirt we decided that there is no way bags of dirt will cover the area we need for our garden

So we decided to get a truck load of dirt to help with the garden

We have had a lot of helpers putting dirt into the wheelbarrow, they were more than willing to help out and earned a chocolate bar in the process! 

The trees are flowering, it's so beautiful

We have building projects going on. We are doubling the house size! 

We have started putting up a screen around the orchard to deter deer, we are not finished yet but will get there soon enough. Just one of the many projects on the homestead. 

We are loving the schoolhouse

We thank God for each and every day for all we have and the wonderful community we live in.
