Spring on the Homestead

Flowers were planted at the top of the drive. Sunflowers were planted around the outside of the garden. Vegetables were planted in the garden and leaves are budding on the fruit trees.

So many projects going on. We are working on the building an addition to the house as well as working on a play structure for the kids. We had hoped it would be finished before Christmas but ended up getting busy with other things.

The chickens have been moved to a chicken yard so they will be kept out of the garden. Last year they ate all of the garden. This year they will have their coops and a lovely area to run around in, that does NOT involve getting into my garden.

Another project we have to work on is our outdoor kitchen. We need to get it finished before it gets too hot. Cooking on a gas stove in a tiny house is just too hot. The plan is to have an outdoor kitchen with a large table so we can fit all our family and even guests.

There are a lot of other things going on that may slow down the process of all the building, but we are doing the best we can.

Fun in the creek.
We feel so blessed to have this amazing creek on our property!

We had a lot of rain and the creek was so full and beautiful

I love it when it is full and you hear the water rushing and all the little waterfalls are just stunning!
God is Good!

Willow made cupcakes all by herself!
She followed the directions on the box and did it all on her own!

A few pictures of when we had the eclipse

Almost everyone enjoyed it. Gavyn did not want to put his head back and look up wearing glasses so he took a nap instead.
